Welcome to the Music at Saint Alban’s web site.

Dear Friends and Loyal Patrons,

Our series has been widely recognized over the past ten years for bringing high quality music to the South Shore. Our world-class musicians regularly perform in the major concert halls of New York City and throughout the world. The historic church is noted for its superb acoustics and is home to a Steinway grand piano and the famous 1883 Hook & Hastings opus 1192 pipe organ.

As you know, due to inclement weather we had to postpone our last concert featuring the Diderot String Quartet. We have rescheduled them to open next season with a special all Beethoven concert which will also feature Kenneth Hamrick playing our beautifully restored Steinway Piano.

Our 2014-2015 Concert Season continues on Sunday May 3 at 3:30 PM with a very special event. Pianist Jason Andrews will give the first performance on our newly restored 1893 Steinway Piano.
This "Steinway Piano Celebration" concert will launch a year long celebration by Music at Saint Alban's of this very special instrument. The concert will also feature Kenneth Hamrick playing the organ. They will be performing Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

Our series survives on the continuing generosity of donors like you. Your gifts directly keep ticket prices affordable for our community. Please consider a tax-deductible contribution.

Our donors are listed in concert programs and recognized in special events throughout the season.
